Career Counseling
Aligned with an existential approach, Dr. Ruediger offers career counseling utilizing Happenstance Theory, supporting clients in staying curious and open to unplanned opportunities as part of building a meaningful vocational path. Sessions explore how values, identity, and lived experience intersect with work, treating uncertainty as useful information rather than a problem to be solved.

Gender-Affirming Surgery Letters
I write letters of support for all gender-affirming surgeries for people living in Washington state.
The cost is $200 for a 55-minute session and any necessary future revisions or updates to the letter, with sliding scale and pro bono options available as needed.
If you are over the age of 18 and in need of a letter from a Licensed Mental Health professional, I can generally complete a letter in one session. This can apply to folks under 18 as well, though there may be other parental and familial considerations to attend to. Ongoing therapy is not required.
If your doctor is requiring a letter from a Licensed Mental Health Professional to begin Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), please note that informed consent is considered best practice and there are other physicians that will not require a letter. This also applies to some gender-affirming surgeries; however, insurance companies generally require a letter from a Licensed Mental Health Professional for surgery to be covered.
I am unfortunately not able to write letters for people who live outside of Washington State. If you live outside of WA and are looking for a letter, you're welcome to send me an email and I can respond with some info and suggestions for finding a qualified therapist licensed in your state.
